What once took years, a team of programmers, and potentially millions of dollars might now be rebuilt in just a few weeks.

That’s the experiment.

I’m recreating REO Maestro, the property-management platform we originally developed beginning in the mid-2000s. This time, I’m using AI and “vibe coding” tools to see how quickly one person can turn an idea into a working application.

After only about six hours, the foundation is already taking shape. The first version includes property records, client contacts, vendor management, user settings, and a basic dashboard.

It isn’t polished yet. Some sections are empty, the layout needs work, and plenty will change. But that’s exactly why I’m sharing this journey from Day One: you’ll see the real process, including what works, what doesn’t, and how quickly the platform evolves.
